Creative Design is seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to join our creative design team. As a UX/UI Designer, you will partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other designers to define great experiences from initial concept through successful implementation. You will be responsible for visualizing and prototyping intended solutions at various levels of fidelity, including high-level wireframes, conceptual designs, design presentations, and detailed specifications. In addition, you will collaborate closely with one or more local or remote Agile Scrum teams to work iteratively and deliver customer value.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other designers to define great experiences from initial concept through successful implementation.
2. Visualize and prototype intended solutions at various levels of fidelity.
3. Collaborate closely with one or more local or remote Agile Scrum teams to deliver customer value.
4. Use customer insights that come from analytics and customer interactions to help inform business and design decisions.
5. Help to facilitate and participate in user research like interviews and usability testing to validate designs and make iterative improvements.
6. Contribute to efforts to create scalable experience design standards and improve design processes.
7. Participate in and lead design-thinking exercises to break through organizational silos and collaboratively solve complex design challenges.

Required Qualifications:

1. Advanced skills in user-centered design methodologies, creating mock-ups and prototypes at varying levels of fidelity, and UI design.
2. A portfolio demonstrating your end-to-end design process.
3. Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas to their essence.
4. Demonstrable experience utilizing a variety of human-centered design methods and best practices.
5. Ability to drive results in a collaborative environment.
6. Strong presentation skills to share your work with credibility, clarity, and confidence.
7. Experience translating qualitative and quantitative data into design decisions.
8. Practical understanding of current technologies used to build rich experiences in responsive web and native mobile large.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Advanced proficiency in user-centered design methodologies, wireframing, prototyping, and UI design for web and mobile, including industry best practices in UI standards and accessibility requirements.
2. Proven experience utilizing a variety of human-centered design methods and best practices.
3. Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and confidently.
4. Demonstrable experience translating qualitative and quantitative data into design decisions.
5. Practical understanding of current technologies used to build rich experiences in responsive web and native mobile large enterprise apps, including their capabilities, patterns, and limitations.
6. Expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
7. A portfolio demonstrating your end-to-end design process.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MA/MS degree in UX/UI design or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in product design or user experience design, preferably in WordPress, research, or e-commerce adjacent industries.
• Experience defining product strategy and vision.
• Ability to balance great design solutions with an iterative, agile approach.
• Experience supporting multiple products.
• Comfortable working on a distributed team and collaborating remotely.
